The trick

Lay every tile flat like a drawing: two body squares in a line, a triangle nose on the front edge, a right-triangle fin on each side edge, and a flame triangle on the back edge, all touching along full edges so the picture holds as one sheet.

What you will need

  • 2 square tiles
  • 2 triangle tiles
  • 2 right-angle triangle tiles

Step by step

  1. 1. Lay the body

Put two squares in a line, touching along one full edge, for the rocket's tube.

  2. 2. Point the nose

Set a triangle on the far end of the body so its flat side matches the square's edge and its point aims away.

  3. 3. Add the fins

Slide a right triangle against each side of the bottom square so a full edge meets and the point swings out to the tail.

  4. 4. Light the flame

Drop a triangle onto the tail edge with its point trailing out behind for the blast.
