The trick
A right triangle is half a square, so leaning one against each side of the base turns straight walls into slopes, and the whole thing reads as a pyramid even though it's lying flat on the floor.
What you will need
- 5 square tiles
- 2 right-angle triangle tiles
Step by step
1. Lay the base
Lay three squares in a row for the wide bottom of the pyramid.
2. Slope the walls
Put one square above the middle tile, then a right triangle on each side with its long edge sloping inward.
3. Set the capstone
Top it with one more square as the capstone.
