The trick

Build the wheelhouse straight onto a deck tile with no floor of its own. That deck tile is the cabin floor, so the walls grip its four edges and the roof bridges across the top.

What you will need

  • 8 square tiles
  • 1 triangle tiles

Step by step

  1. 1. Lay the deck

Put four squares flat in a row. This is the long deck of the boat.

  2. 2. Point the bow

Add a triangle flat at the front so the boat comes to a point at the water.

  3. 3. Stand the wheelhouse walls

Stand three squares up around the second deck tile, leaving the back open for the doorway.

  4. 4. Cap the roof

Lay one square flat on top of the walls to close the wheelhouse in.
