Put two square flats side by side so their edges touch, then wall in both, sharing one wall down the middle instead of building two.

Leave the middle wall out of the left flat so the right flat's wall becomes the shared party wall, built once and holding both apartments together.

Step by step
1. Lay the two ground flats
Put two square flats side by side so their edges touch, then wall in both, sharing one wall down the middle instead of building two.
2. Build the first floor
Rest two flats across the walls, then wall both apartments in again with a single shared wall between them.
3. Build the top floor
Add the last two floor flats and their walls the same way for the top storey.
4. Cap the roof
Lay two yellow flats side by side across the top as the roof.
