Put four squares flat in a long row. The first is the cab, the last three are the trailer.

The trick
Build the cab as a closed box, then leave the front of the trailer open so it borrows the cab's back wall. One wall does two jobs and holds the two boxes together as one truck.

Step by step
1. Lay the floor
Put four squares flat in a long row. The first is the cab, the last three are the trailer.
2. Box in the cab
Stand four walls around the first square and cap it with a lid.
3. Wall the trailer
Stand walls down both long sides and close the very back. Leave the front open against the cab.
4. Roof the trailer
Lay three squares flat along the top to close the trailer.
