Start the shaft
Lay the blue square for the water at the bottom, then stand four teal squares up around it to make the first ring.

The trick
Stack a second ring of walls straight onto the first with no lid in between: each upper wall grabs the top edge of the wall below, so the shaft climbs and a coin can still drop all the way down.

1. Start the shaft
Lay the blue square for the water at the bottom, then stand four teal squares up around it to make the first ring.
2. Raise it a level
Stand four more teal squares directly on top of the first four so the well grows tall and stays open at the top.
