The trick

There are no walls: each roof square leans straight from the floor edge up to the ridge, so the low edge clips onto the floor and a triangle at the back pins both slopes together.

What you will need

  • 11 square tiles
  • 1 triangle tiles

Step by step

  1. 1. Lay the floor

Line up three squares flat in a row for the cabin floor.

  2. 2. Raise the slopes

On each square of floor lean two more squares up so their low edges sit on the floor edges and their tops meet in a ridge.

  3. 3. Close the back

Drop one big triangle into the back opening to shut it and hold the two slopes together.

  4. 4. Build the deck

Lay two squares flat out from the open front to make a deck.
