The trick
One long ridge runs the whole roof, so every roof square shares an edge with its neighbour and braces it. A three-square roof is as stiff as a short one, and only the two ends need triangles.
What you will need
- 16 square tiles
- 2 triangle tiles
Step by step
1. Lay the long floor
Line up three squares flat in a row so each one touches the next.
2. Fold the walls up
Stand a wall on the back edge and each end, then two on the front and leave the middle open for a door.
3. Run the roof
Lean a pair of squares over each part of the room so they all meet along one long ridge.
4. Cap the ends
Fill each open end under the roof with a triangle so the long roof is pinned shut.
